Climate Action from Farm to Table

This project promotes climate action at all stages of the food system, and leverages that awareness as a force to expand solutions, shift policy, and challenge decision-makers to act.

Our farms and food systems are facing unprecedented and unknown risk from the climate crisis, and this project shares information on the impacts from global warming and actions we can take to address climate change.

Agriculture, food systems and land-use must all be part of the solution to addressing climate change.

We must prepare our farms, food systems and communities for the changes that are coming. And we need to develop and implement better practices that make agriculture and the food system less impactful.

With intention, our farms and food systems can be better prepared, less impactful, and more beneficial in helping address carbon pollution and climate change.

Climate Action from Farm to Table engages in collaborative problem-solving, modeling and implementing mitigations and solutions, and by educating policy-makers and the public about the connection between climate change, Colorado agriculture and food security.

Colorado Farm & Food Alliance is a member of the U.S. Climate Action Network through which we share information, resources, and strategies in helping to develop and implement our climate programming.
