Local Food Networks & Small Farms Support

Prosperous farms that support operators and workers are at the root of secure, equitable and resilient food systems. This project serves to identify, understand, and support the small farms and local food networks of the Gunnison River region and western Colorado.

Rural Resilience & Regeneration Hub

Centering activities that offer support for regenerative agriculture, shares learning from current operators, and promotes storytelling and data collection. This project is working to develop a suite of programming to support farms using or moving into regenerative practices that benefit soils, biodiversity and natural pest control, pasture management, wise water use and riparian health.
