Regenerative Agriculture Farm Dinner with the Forage Sisters-Mark your calendar and make your reservations now!
Our much anticipated Regenerative Agriculture Farm Dinner with the Forage Sisters returns on October 23, at the Midway Schoolhouse, outside Hotchkiss. Held at the peak of harvest season, and when the Valley will be ablaze in autumnal colors, this ticketed event will sell out in advance. So right now is a good time to purchase your tickets here.
Featuring the very best local ingredients, fresh from the fields and vines of the North Fork Valley—“Colorado’s Farm to Table Capital”—this five-course, masterfully prepared dinner will highlight the bounty of the West Elk region’s farms and vineyards with paired wines by Qutori. Please take a look at the mouthwatering menu and visit colofarmfood.org/events for all the details.
The Colorado Farm & Food Alliance is in the process of building out new Rural Resilience and Regeneration programming, in partnership with other nonprofits and organizations. Our annual dinner offers an opportunity to share in the valley’s harvest and to share with dinner guests about the importance of our work and this programming, which are directly supported by this event. We are deeply grateful to Nicole Carillo and the Forage Sisters, and to Julie Bennet at Root & Vine Market/Qutori Wines for their community-minded values and for their contribution to this seasonal feast.
The Forage Sisters are highly-sought-after culinary artists who are widely regarded for their creativity and masterful preparations featuring the best, in-season local ingredients. Qutori Wines is an award-winning winery located outside of Paonia, Colorado in the West Elk American Viticultural Area (AVA), one of two federally-designated AVAs in the state. The Midway Schoolhouse is an early 20th Century one-room schoolhouse, lovingly restored with sweeping views of the West Elk Mountains and the farms and pastures of the valley.
This is a fun event and a not-to-be-missed evening that allows the Colorado Farm & Food Alliance and attendees to support the growth of climate-smart and regenerative agriculture in Delta County and beyond.
We hope to see you there!
