Grants for Small-acreage Farms and Cottage Food Producers
Colorado Farm and Food Alliance is working to develop and build our Rural Resilience and Regeneration programming to assist small farm and food businesses in locating the resources, connections, and skills they need to help them succeed and to support rural communities that are prosperous, equitable, and climate-resilient.
This programming's major focus is on supporting farmers in their ongoing journey toward maintaining and adopting new regenerative agriculture practices.
One early piece of this work is connecting small-acreage farmers and cottage food producers with existing and potential funding sources that could support their goals and projects.
We have initiated this endeavor with a web-based spreadsheet identifying some current grants that might be available for farmers and cottage food producers.
This page, which we will update quarterly, lists grants we have come across and includes deadlines, typical amounts funded, guidelines and eligibility for applying, and other relevant information.
This is a new endeavor and remains a work in progress. We need your feedback on the usefulness of this spreadsheet and on how to make it even better.
We also welcome your input on grants and funding opportunities that you know about and that we might include in an update, along with any suggestions for additional information or resources that would be useful to you or others you know.
At the bottom of this page is a form you can fill out to provide us with your specific information, needs, or questions.
